SEA Webinar: Sustainable Fan Travel and the Business of Live Sporting events

Fan and participant travel consistently accounts for the vast majority of a sporting event's total carbon footprint, often the highest of Scope 3 emissions. Despite this, travel remains one of the least-measured and least-managed sustainability levers available to sporting organisations.

This SEA webinar brings together sustainability leaders, sport administrators, and technology innovators to explore how travel demand management platforms are reducing emissions, improving reporting, elevating the fan experience, and unlocking new value for commercial partners.

The session is led by SEA and You.Smart.Thing is proposed to share thought leadership and our ongoing commitment to equipping SEA members and the Australian sporting industry with the knowledge and tools to drive genuine environmental action, in this case fan travel.
