The Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) is committed to do more {for the world} with less {impact} so we can continue to have places to play. We find value in sharing knowledge and building networks to enhance the industry’s engagement in the clean economy to deal with changes in our natural environment.

Vision: Our vision is to empower the sport industry to better engage with the circular economy.

Mission: We live by the mission of leading, educating, and inspiring our sport community members to live, work, play, and spectate more sustainably in Australasia.

Since June 2015, SEA has acquired 18 Foundation Members representing Australia and New Zealand. We have formed knowledge and program partnerships with a number of community and expert thought leaders. Extending the knowledge and networks of our members and partners, and improving their level of impact and influence are integral to our movement.

SEA has contributed to The Climate Institute’s Climate Change and Sport Report, attended global alliance meetings, presented at COP21 and the Green Sports Alliance Summit, and facilitated the environmental sustainability trends panel at the 2016 Asia Pacific Venue Industry Congress.

We make choices in operations, partnerships, supplier and other relationships, which reflect the least impact. We are looking forward to growing our movement, as without change comes #noplanetnoplay®.

Let’s start with the end. We see our future with the sun shining, the water is clean, the air is fresh, and filled with the smell of fresh cut grass.
